WHAT DOES SOLVATION MEAN IN ENGLISH?

Solvation

Solvation, also sometimes called dissolution, is the process of attraction and association of molecules of a solvent with molecules or ions of a solute. As ions dissolve in a solvent they spread out and become surrounded by solvent molecules.

Definition of solvation in the English dictionary

The definition of solvation in the dictionary is the process in which there is some chemical association between the molecules of a solute and those of the solvent. An example is an aqueous solution of copper sulphate which contains complex ions of the type 2+.
