Definition of censor in the Spanish dictionary
The first definition of censor in the dictionary of the real academy of the Spanish language is that censorship. Another meaning of censor in the dictionary is in some political regimes, official in charge of reviewing all kinds of publications or films, advertising messages, etc., and proposing, where appropriate, that they be modified or prohibited. Censor is also in academies and other corporations, person mainly responsible for ensuring the observance of statutes, regulations and agreements.
