Excite
Exciter is the tenth studio album of the English band Depeche Mode, released in 2001. It is an album with very digital, very fluid sound. Several pieces show the habit for this album of Depeche Mode to decrease the low frequencies on the voice of Dave Gahan in order to make the serious notes more pronounced. A different album despite a welcome enough retained by fans who obviously expected something else. It ranked 9th in the UK charts and 8th in the US in the Billboard 200. It is No. 1 in France, Sweden and French-speaking Belgium.
