Thrill
Shivering is a reaction of the body in the homeothermic animals, of which man is a part, in the face of external agents. It occurs commonly in hypothermic situations: the body will activate all the subcutaneous muscles in order to warm the epidermis without the need to use warm blood, which is concentrated at that time on the vital organs . It is associated with piloerection and behavioral adaptations such as curling, friction and dress.
