Pacify
Pacifier is the fifth studio album of rock band Shihad. Launched in 2002 when the group adopted the name Pacifier, this album was ranked 1st in the RIANZ charter and is the second album of the group to have received Platium certification in New Zealand with more than 15,000 copies sold. Despite his success, this album once again failed to break through the band in the United States. The band, and its lead singer Jon Toogood in particular, have since shown their dissatisfaction with the album, calling it "superproduct" and "shit --- which would have been the wrong album to go strong on." This album includes performances by Scott Weiland and DJ Lethal on the song "Coming Down". The album was produced by Josh Abraham, from the success of 30 Seconds to Mars, Michelle Branch and Weezer. A version of this album includes the bonus disc "Weapons of Mass Destruction" and another version contains a bonus disc including live acoustic songs songs from "Helen Young Sessions".
