Tear
Tears consist of tear fluid that overflows the eye. They are salty, secreted by the lacrimal glands at the level of the eyes. They present themselves in the form of drops that flow along the cheeks: the verb which designates the production of tears is crying. Increased tear production is activated by certain stimuli, for example if the nervous system detects a danger to the cornea such as contact with an object or an acid. Tears usually betray a state of despair, sadness or pain, but may also appear in other emotional circumstances: joy, laughter ... Crying is normally a reflex act, but some actors can produce tears by evoking inwardly circumstances causing sadness. In various cultures, mourners were or are still called to mourn the dead.
