Definition of pulpolithe in the French dictionary

The first definition of pulpolite in the dictionary is soft tissue, spongy, rich in juices, which constitutes the largest part of fleshy fruits. Another definition of pulpolite is beetroot chips, a product for grating or grinding potato tubers intended for the extraction of sugar and starch, respectively, and which after that may be used as feed for livestock . Pulpolite is also a soft paste that is obtained by grinding the tender and fleshy parts of the plants and then by sieving to remove the fibrous and hard parts, formerly administered orally or as a poultice.

La première définition de pulpolithe dans le dictionnaire est tissu mou, spongieux, riche en sucs, qui constitue la plus grande partie des fruits charnus. Une autre définition de pulpolithe est cossettes de betteraves, produit de râpage ou de broyage de tubercules de pommes de terre destinés respectivement à l'extraction du sucre et de la fécule et qui, après celle-ci, pourront être utilisés comme aliment pour le bétail. Pulpolithe est aussi pâte molle que l'on obtient par broyage des parties tendres et charnues des végétaux puis par tamisage pour en éliminer les parties fibreuses et dures, autrefois administrée par voie orale ou en cataplasme.
