Seduction
In social science, seduction refers to a process of deliberately arousing an admiration, attraction and even the love of one or more individuals. The word is derived from the Latin seducere, meaning literally "pull away", and has positive and negative connotations. The greatest seducers in history include Lilith, Giacomo Casanova and Don Juan. Sometimes called "flirtation" or, more rarely, "marivaudage", the seduction company often presents itself as a form of play or challenge between two or more individuals, in which one strives to attraction and / or feelings in the other by various behaviors. The simplest goal of seduction is to gain an advantage from the seduced person, such as sex, gifts or money. But its aim can be more complex and diverted: recognition, self-esteem, narcissism or simple satisfaction of the desire to conquer.
