To touch
Touch, also called tact or tact, is one of the senses of the human or animal, essential for the survival and development of living beings, exploration, recognition, discovery of the environment, locomotion or walking, prehension of objects and nutrition, the touch of a musical instrument, the search for solar exposure or the quest for a pleasant space, social contacts, sexuality ... with variants throughout the animal kingdom and, much less observable because of the apparent immobility, vegetable. Note that some plants also have tactile reactions with response times short enough to be observable. Touch is also confused with the contact involving at least one living being. The complexity of touch has recently been shown. In the human fetus, it is the first of the five senses to develop even if it is not a sense independent of others. The haptic sense allows man, in particular, to better connect vision and hearing, and can even significantly facilitate the learning of reading in adults.
