Fire
On a boat turning can have several meanings: ▪ To veer, generically, it is to change direction by acting on the bar. ▪ An edge transfer designates, on a sailboat, the maneuver consisting of changing tacks. ▪ Vesting a mark, buoy ... means going around it, going to its width. ▪ Tying a rope, generally used on a ship of a certain size or in the old sailboat, tends a rope or chain by means of a winch or a mechanical device. If we take a rope by hand, we will use the verb to embrace. For the inverse maneuver the verbs are used to deviate, to mull.
