Axum
Aksum is a city in the northern part of Ethiopia. Located in the Tigray region near the foot of the Adwa mountain region in the Mekaegegnau area. It is the center of the former kingdom of Aksum. This kingdom was a Christian country prospering by maritime trade as a half-allied country of the eastern Roman Empire rising in the time of the birth of Jesus against the Persian Empire of the day.
