Edessa
Edessa is a city in the northern part of Greece, Central Macedonia region Perak, the prefecture capital of Perak. Edessa means "a city of water", derived from a waterfall in the center of the city. After the Middle Ages, it came to be called alias as Vodena, but this is derived from Vaden which again means "water town" in Slavonic language. In Turkey and the southern Slavic countries, we call it Voden or its derivative. Population 12,825 people. Located on the hill, at an altitude of 320 meters. The main industries are cotton industry and cultivation of tobacco. At the end of the 5th century BC, the kingdom of Macedonia moved to a nearby Perak, so there are many tombs of King Macedonia. ...
