Bouvet Island [Bouvet Island] "Bouvet Island" A Norwegian uninhabited island floating in the South Antarctica of the South Atlantic Ocean. It is located about 1600 km off the coast of Antarctica, about 2,500 kilometers southwest of Cape Town in South Africa, 54 degrees 26 minutes south latitude and 3 degrees 24 degrees east longitude. It is an isolated volcanic island and covered with ice. Discovered by Bubbe in France in 1739. In 1927 the Norwegian corps stayed for several months and became the sovereignty of the country. ブーベ‐とう【ブーベ島】 《Bouvet Island》南大西洋の亜南極に浮かぶノルウェー領の無人島。南極大陸の沖合約1600キロメートル、南アフリカのケープタウンの南西約2500キロメートル、南緯54度26分、東経3度24分に位置する。孤立した火山島であり、氷に覆われる。1739年にフランスのブーベにより発見。1927年にノルウェー隊が数か月滞在し、同国主権の属領となった。
