Humayun's Tomb "Humayun's Tomb" A mausoleum in the city of Delhi in northern India. Located in the city center, near the Jamuna River. In 1565 the Mughal Emperor 's second Emperor Humayun died and was built by the Emperor' s life. It is a symmetrical building that holds a white dome in the center and a Persian style quartered garden (Chaharberg) is divided into four sections. It influenced the Taj Mahal which was built later and is known as a masterpiece of Islamic architecture in the country. It was registered as a World Heritage (cultural heritage) in 1993. フマーユーン‐びょう【フマーユーン廟】 《Humayun's Tomb》インド北部の都市デリーにある霊廟。市街中心部、ジャムナ川付近に位置する。1565年にムガル帝国第2代皇帝フマーユーンが死去し、皇妃の命により建設された。中央に白いドームを戴く左右対称の建物であり、四つの区画に分割されたペルシア風の四分庭園(チャハルバーグ)が広がる。のちに建造されたタージマハルに影響を与え、同国におけるイスラム建築の傑作として知られる。1993年に世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。
