Farrukhabad City in Uttar Pradesh in northern India. It is located along the Ganges River, about 100 kilometers northwest of the capital city of Rucknow. In the vicinity, a canal from the Ganges river is maintained, it produces wheat and sugarcane, and it is a collection point of agricultural products. It is named after the Mughal Empire No. 9 emperor Farfushiyaru. There are Buddhist remains of the Ashoka Kingdom in the suburbs.
