Babruisk 【Babrujsk / Бабруйск】 City in Middle East, Mahilloow State, Belarus. Russian name Bobruisk. Located along the tributary of the Dnieper River Berezina River. It has a history since the first half of the 14th century, passed through the Lithuanian territory and Polish territory, became the Russian Empire territory from the end of the 18th century. In the early nineteenth century, the fortress built in the era of Russian emperor Alexander I remained and is known for dismissing the Napoleonic army's attack. バブルイスク【Babrujsk/Бабруйск】 ベラルーシ中東部、マヒリョウ州の都市。ロシア語名ボブルイスク。ドニエプル川の支流ベレジナ川沿いに位置する。14世紀前半以来の歴史をもち、リトアニア領、ポーランド領を経て、18世紀末よりロシア帝国領になった。19世紀初頭、ロシア皇帝アレクサンドル1世の時代に建造された要塞が残っており、ナポレオン軍の攻撃を退けたことで知られる。
