Definition of バガヤー‐そういん in the Japanese dictionary
[Bagaya monastery] "Bagaya Kyaung" The monastery in Inwa town in central Myanmar. Established in 1834 by King Birthday of Conborg Morning. It is a wooden building using teak wood and refined sculptures are applied to walls and pillars. There are 500 Buddha statues made in the Kingdom era. バガヤー‐そういん【バガヤー僧院】 《Bagaya Kyaung》ミャンマー中部の町インワにある僧院。1834年、コンバウン朝のバージードー王により建立。チーク材を用いた木造建築であり、壁や柱に精緻な彫刻が施されている。王都時代につくられた500体の仏像がある。
