Burn Chain Ikki 【Ban Chiang Ruins】 "Ban Chiang" A prehistoric tomb site in the Isan district, northeastern Thailand. It is located about 50 kilometers east of Udon Thani. In 1966 an American student discovered Sayumi pottery. It was considered to be about 6000 years ago, the oldest in Southeast Asia, by excavation survey and dating of the later joint rice / Thailand investigation team, but in recent research it is considered to be after 3500 BC. Along with the buried remains, many unglazed pottery with unique geometric patterns have been found. It was registered as a World Heritage (cultural heritage) in 1992. Baan Chian ruins. Ruins of Banchen. バーンチェーン‐いせき【バーンチェーン遺跡】 《Ban Chiang》タイ北東部、イサーン地方にある先史時代の墳墓遺跡。ウドンターニーの東約50キロメートルに位置する。1966年に米国人学生が彩文土器を発見。のちの米・タイ合同調査団の発掘調査と年代測定により、東南アジア最古の約6000年前のものとされたが、近年の研究では紀元前3500年以降と考えられている。埋葬された遺骨とともに、独特な幾何学模様をもつ素焼きの土器が多数見つかっている。1992年に世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。バーンチアン遺跡。バンチアン遺跡。バンチェン遺跡。
