Banyas
Baniyas (Berniyas, Baniyas, Arabic notation: بانياس) is a port city located in the northern part of Syria Northwest Tartus. It spreads at the foot of the hill of Qal'at el-Marqab, 55 km south of Latakia and 35 km north of Tartus. The population is about 42,000 people. Facing the Mediterranean Sea, we have been exporting fruits and timber shipped from the mountains and rural areas behind long ago.
