Garret (garbage, scientific name: Lepisosteiformes) is one of the taxonomic groups of fish belonging to the petiola. It consists of only one family of Lepisosteidae and seven species of 2 genera such as spotted guar and alligator gar are described. In addition, according to the scientific name, it is often denoted as Lepisosteus, Lepisosteidae. It is regarded as the most primitive group alongside the Amias as a present fish belonging to the New Fins. Under the new subfinorail there is a division called Harecoostomi and it belongs to it.
