Kayseri [Kayseri Castle] "Kayseri Kalesi" A castle in the city center of the city of Kayseri in the center of Turkey. In one theory, it originated in a castle built in the era of Gordianus III of the ancient Roman Empire in the 3 rd century, and was subsequently reinforced and remodeled in the age of Justinian I of the East Roman Empire. The current fort is believed to have been built in the Serjuke Turkic period.
