Republic of Ghana (Ghana), known as Ghana, is a republic nation located in West Africa, a member of the UK Federal Republic. It borders Togo to the east, Burkina Faso to the north, Côte d'Ivoire to the west, and the south faces the Atlantic Ocean. The capital city is Accra. In 1957 when democratization was active, it was the first country in the sub-Saharan Africa to achieve independence from European religious countries centered on locals. It was called the British gold coast, but changed its name to Ghana for independence. The first president named Kemura is famous for promoting the African unification movement.
