Gatina
Gatina (Gatchina, Gatuchina, Gatutina, Gachina, Russian: Гатчина, Examples of Latin script: Gatchina; Finnish: Hatsina) is a city in the western part of Russia · Leningrad province. It is 45 km south of the capital city of St. Petersburg, and passes by road and railroad connecting St Petersburg and Pskov. The population is 88,420 people (2002 census: 79,714 people in the 1989 Soviet census). The town of Gatina is known for the Gatina Palace, one of the summer residences of the Russian royal family, and has become the stage of the history of Russia.
