Gate ball "(W) gate + ball" divided into two teams by a group of five people, each striking a wooden ball or a plastic ball with a T-shaped stick, three gates sequentially passed through, a game to hit the goal pole in the center of the court . It was invented in Japan in 1947 (Showa 22). ゲート‐ボール 《(和)gate+ball》五人一組で2チームに分かれ、各自が木球またはプラスチック球をT字型のスティックで打って三つのゲートを順次くぐらせ、コート中央のゴールポールに当てる競技。昭和22年(1947)に日本で考案された。
