Kitora Kofun 【Kitora Kofun】 "Kitora" is from the place name "Kitaura" It is a two-tiered circular mound in Asuka village Abe Mount Nara prefecture. Special historic site. About 14 meters in diameter and 3.3 meters in height. It is thought that it was built from the latter half of the 7th century to the 8th century. In the survey since 1983 (1983), stone horse \u0026 thinsp; (shikkaku) \u0026 thinsp; on the four sides of the blue dragon \u0026 thinsp; \u0026 thinsp ;, white tiger \u0026 thinsp; (baby) \u0026 thinsp ;, xuan \u0026 thinsp; (Genku) \u0026 thinsp ;, Suzaku \u0026 thinsp; (Suzaku) \u0026 thinsp; and four thousand gods and thousands of gods, and the astronomical chart on the ceiling turned out. From 2004 (2004), all the mural paintings were peeled off for restoration and preservation. きとら‐こふん【キトラ古墳】 《「キトラ」は地名「北浦」からという》奈良県明日香村阿部山にある二段築成の円墳。特別史跡。直径約14メートル、高さ約3.3メートル。7世紀後半から8世紀にかけて築造されたものと考えられる。昭和58年(1983)以来の調査で、石槨 (せっかく) の四方に青竜 (せいりょう) 、白虎 (びゃっこ) 、玄武 (げんぶ) 、朱雀 (すざく) の四神図と十二支像、天井に天文図のあることが判明した。平成16年(2004)から、修復・保存のため壁画全図のはぎ取りが行われた。
