The Gorenska region (Slovenian: Gorenjska, English: Upper Carniola, German: Oberkrain) is a traditional region of Slovenia and has no meaning as an administrative unit. Historically it was part of the Habsburg family's territory. The traditional center of this region is Krani, the other major cities are Yezenice, Toljjči, Schuchofia, Loca, Camnic and Dom de Jare.
