Erich Rudendorf
Erich Friedrich Wilhelm Rudendorf (April 9, 1865 - December 20, 1937) is a German soldier and politician. In the Battle of Tannenberg during the early World War I assisted the 8th Army commander Paul von Hindenburg and led the German army to victory. He served as deputy chief of staff under the Hindenburg who was president of the general staff headquarters from the middle to the end of the war, and held the huge real power also called "Rudendorf dictatorship".
