Manabu Sano 【Studies of Sano】 [1892 ~ 1953] Social activist · historian. Born in Oita. Japan Communist Party Central Executive Committee Chairman, then Comintern Executive Committee Member. In the Showa 4 (1929) incident at the fourteenth and sixteenth cases, a prison prayed and a statement was made to change in prison. After World War II the anti-communism movement developed. Author "Russian Economic History" "Criticism of Material History". さの‐まなぶ【佐野学】 [1892~1953]社会運動家・歴史学者。大分の生まれ。日本共産党中央執行委員長、次いでコミンテルン常任執行委員。昭和4年(1929)の四・一六事件で入獄し、獄中で転向を声明。第二次大戦後は反共運動を展開した。著「ロシア経済史」「唯物史観批判」など。
