Sandale
Zandale is the city of Niger. It is the second largest city in Niger, with a population of about 170,000 in 2001. The state capital of the state of Zandale. In Hausa language it is called Damagaram (Damagaram). It is located in the southern part of Niger, at the boundary between the desert and the step. It is 535 miles east of the capital Niame. In the 18th century it prospered as the Kingdom of Damagaram, and it is seen that there was a population of 200,000 or more. The walls of the surviving old city are its remnants. It became a French colony in 1899 and became administrative center, but in 1926 the administrative function has moved to Niamey.
