じょうこうみょう‐じ【浄光明寺】 神奈川県鎌倉市にある真言宗泉涌寺 (せんにゅうじ) 派の寺。山号は泉谷山。開創は建長3年（1251）、開基は北条長時、開山は真阿。当初は真言・天台・華厳・律の四宗兼学。鎌倉公方 (くぼう) の祈願所で、足利氏の帰依を受けた。 鹿児島市上竜尾町にある時宗 (じしゅう) の寺。山号は松峯山。開創は文治2年（1186）、開基は島津忠久と伝えるが、弘安7年（1284）島津久経が再興、開山は覚阿。西郷隆盛・桐野利秋らの墓がある。
