Sri Nagar (Hindi: श्रीनगर, Urdu: سرینگر, Kashmiri: سرېنگر / सिरीनगर, English: Srinagar) is the capital city of summer in Indian · Jammu · Kashmir Province. Located on the banks of the Jammu River, a tributary of the Indus River flowing through the Kashmir Valley. It is famous for its lakes and house boats floating there, and is also known for traditional handicrafts and dried fruits that travel to the Kashmir region. It is 876 km north of Delhi.
