Suzuki Miekichi 【Suzuki Miekichi】 [1882 ~ 1936] Novelist / fairy tale writer. Born in Hiroshima. The gate of Natsume Soseki. Accepted in the short story "Chidori", he published the 1917 childhood magazine "Red Bird" and devoted himself to the development of child literature. Novel "Bird's Nest" "Mulberry Fruit" etc. すずき‐みえきち【鈴木三重吉】 [1882~1936]小説家・童話作家。広島の生まれ。夏目漱石の門下。短編「千鳥」で認められ、大正7年(1918)児童雑誌「赤い鳥」を創刊、児童文学の発展に尽力。小説「小鳥の巣」「桑の実」など。
