Studley Royal Park 【Studley Royal Park】 Royal Park, about 80 kilometers northeast of Manchester, the UK city. It is a large garden built in the middle of the 18th century and there is the remains of the Fountains Abbey built in the garden in the first half of the 12th century. The monastery was built by 13 monks who wanted to live a pure faith life in compliance with the precepts. In 1986, it was registered as a World Heritage (cultural heritage). スタッドリー‐おうりつこうえん【スタッドリー王立公園】 《Studley Royal Park》英国の都市マンチェスターの北東約80キロメートルにある王立公園。18世紀半ばに造られた広大な庭園で、園内に12世紀前半に造られたファウンティンズ修道院の遺構がある。修道院は、戒律に則った純粋な信仰生活を送ることを望んだ13人の修道士によって造られたもの。1986年に、世界遺産(文化遺産)に登録された。
