Let's do it, 【Jiro Takigira】 [1921 ~ 2009] Cutting painter. Born in Ibaraki. Independence as a woodcut painter after the Second World War. Later turned a picture into drawing, in 1970, he received the 1st Kodansha Publishing Culture Award (Book Design Division) at "Hanasaki Yama". In addition to "Hachiro" "Mochimochi no Tree" etc. たきだいら‐じろう【滝平二郎】 [1921~2009]切り絵作家。茨城の生まれ。第二次大戦後に木版画家として独立。のちに切り絵に転じ、昭和45年(1970)、「花さき山」で第1回講談社出版文化賞(ブックデザイン部門)を受賞。他に「八郎」「モチモチの木」など。
