Deir Kurntul [Deir Quruntal] Monastery of the Greek Orthodox Church in the northwestern part of the city of Jericho in the Palestinian region. Founded in the 6th century. The name is Arabic meaning "40-day monastery". It is on the steep cliff of "mountain of temptation" that Jesus = Christ fasted and meditated for 40 days and was tempted by the devil. デール‐クルントゥル【Deir Quruntal】 パレスチナ地方の都市エリコの北西部にあるギリシャ正教会の修道院。6世紀に創設。名称はアラビア語で「40日の修道院」を意味する。イエス=キリストが40日間の断食と瞑想を行い、悪魔に誘惑を受けたという「誘惑の山」の切り立った断崖にある。
