Tsettelleg 【Tsetserleg / Цэцэрлэг】 City in central Mongolia. Prefecture capital of Alhangai province. Located on the northeastern foot of the Hangai Mountains, along the Ultramil River on the tributary of the Orkhon River. Developed around the Tibetan Buddhist temple (now the prefectural museum) built at the end of the 16th century. It means "garden" in Mongolian. There is a rocky mountain and forest called Mount Borgan, and it is known as a scenic town. ツェツェルレグ【Tsetserleg/Цэцэрлэг】 モンゴル中央部の都市。アルハンガイ県の県都。ハンガイ山脈北東麓、オルホン川の支流ウルトタミル川沿いに位置する。16世紀末に建てられたチベット仏教の寺院(現在は県立博物館)を中心に発展。モンゴル語で「庭園」を意味する。ボルガン山という岩山や森林があり、風光明媚な町として知られる。
