Katès
Katès, Gandhul or Gamblok are derived from Caricacea family from southern Mexico and South America and also from the West Indies, which are now widely spread and planted in the tropics for their fruits. C. papaya is the only species in the genus Carica. The name of the Indonesian name is "papaya" taken from Dutch, "papaja", which in turn "papaja" also takes the name Arawak language, "papaya". In Sundanese, it is known as "bananas".
