Ubud
Ubud is a village village headed by 13 banjar dhinas which consists of six traditional villages, including Ubud District, Gianyar regency with a distance of 20 km from Denpasar City. From Denpasar City to Ubud about 30 minutes or 15 from Gianyar City. The area of Ubud is about 300 degrees above sea level, because Ubud has a fresh air. Residents in Ubud are estimated to be around 9,800 people. With a natural environment, the area is a source of inspiration for artists, including foreign artists, especially European artists. In addition to its beautiful nature, Ubud is also known as the rich cultural heritage of artists, especially famous painters, such as I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, Anak Agung Gde Sobrat, I Gusti Made Deblog, I Gusti Ketut Kobot, Ida Bagus Made, God Putu Bedil, Ida Bagus Rai, and so on. In the 1920s there were two European painters Rudolf Bonnet from the Netherlands, and Walter Spies from Germany became a thick man in Ubud.
