Greece
Greece, officially called the Hellenic Republic, is a country of destination of Western World culture located in southern Europe. Greeks called their own country Hellas, and in the modern term called Ellas. In everyday language Ellada is used. The Greek name in English and other similar names is taken from the Latin name Graecia, which is home to a region now in northern Greece, and is seen by the Graecos. As the name used in Indonesian, Greek, derived from Arabic, captures the name of Ionia.
