Amarillo
Amarillo is a city in southern Texas, USA. The population is 183,021 as of 2005. It is located on a high plateau called the Lone Ester Cadora in the northwest Texas state. In the vicinity there is the cultivation of wheat and the grazing of livestock, and it is an important distributing center of agricultural and livestock products. In addition, oil reserves are abundant and oil-related industries are developing. On the other hand, it has the nickname of the capital of helium due to the location of the large helium plant. It is the center of the Panhandle district, which is popping up between New Mexico and Oklahoma. There are several railways and roads across the country, with colleges and cultural facilities.
