Alecine
Aleksin is a city in Tula, Russia, with a population of 68,156. It is located about 71 km northwest of Tula. It was first introduced in 1236 and first appeared in the Nikon Chronicles, written in 1348. Fortresses were built in 1472 when an army led by Amat Khan of the Kipchak Khanate invaded the Grand Duchy of Moscow. It was promoted to the city in 1777 and greatly developed as a chemical factory in the 1930s.
