Amaltea
In Greek mythology, Amaltea was most often mentioned as Zeus' foster mother. In Greece, her name is known as the Greek epithet known as Crete Island, which was known to be the nurturing god of the day, with the Minos called her to translate from a myth that we know plainly to Dikte. Amaltea is sometimes referred to as a goat feeding a baby god in a cave in the Aigaion mountain on the island of Crete. Sometimes it is known as a nymph whose tendency is to have an unclean-born goat. Having a complex and unclear origin of myths represents the worship of a wide god in many cultures with diverse local traditions. Amaltea became blurred in times and in tradition. Kronos swallowed all his children immediately after birth. His mother, Sina Lea, Zeus' mother, cheated her spouse Cronus to her brother by giving him cheap stones to look like a baby instead of Zeus.
