Amoq The name of a special acute confusion stemming from the Malay amuco (the warrior warrior). Suddenly excited to commit assault, murder, etc., leaving behind a noticeable fatigue and memory loss. Kraepelin (1909) described the first Amoque to be unique to the Malay population, but some say it could be seen in Polynesia or the Saharan desert. In the context of comparative cultural psychiatry, culture-bound syndrome can be seen as a kind of two-way movement, or a "moody state" based on cross-personality. 아모크 말레이어인 amuco(결사대전사)에서 유래하는 특수한 급성착란의 명칭. 급격하게 흥분해서 폭행ㆍ살인 등을 범하는데 뒤에 두드러진 피로와 기억상실을 남긴다. 크레펠린 E. Kraepelin(1909)은 말레이인에게 특유한 것으로 최초로 아모크를 기재했는데 폴리네시아나 사하라사막에서 볼 수 있다는 설도 있다. 비교문화정신의학의 견지에 서는 문화결합증후군 culture-bound syndrome으로서 일종의 2중인격내지, 교차인격에 의한「몽롱한 상태」로 볼 수 있다.
