Rock desert
The rock desert is where the rocks are exposed in the desert of the dry area. It is also known as the lava desert, and it is called Hamada in North Africa. Among the deserts of the world, the area of the rock desert is much larger than the sand desert. The rock desert accounts for 98% of the western American desert, 89% of the Sahara desert, and 70% of the Arabian desert. Because the rock is exposed, it is eroded by the wind containing the sand and becomes the source of the sand, and it brings out the desolate scenery.
