Bathsheba
Bathsheba is the wife of King David and the mother of King Solomon in the Old Testament. Bathsheba was originally the wife of Uriah the Hittite, a servant of David, but later David, who was in her beauty, conquered Bathsheba and killed Uriah. Bathsheba was the daughter of Eliam, the Hittite, and the wife of Uriah the son of David. One day David saw Bathsheba take a bath, and against his beautiful appearance, while his husband was on the battlefield, he passed away with her many times. When Bathsheba conceived David 's baby, King David sent a letter to his servant and to Joab, the chief of the army, to take Bathsheba for ever, and sent Uriah to a dangerous battle, unable to live. When David heard that Uriah was dead, King David immediately married Bathsheba, and Bathsheba gave birth to the first child he conceived. But when the prophet Nathan was cursed in the name of God, the child died of sickness within a week.
