Cherry tree is a plant of rosewood rosaceae. It is widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere. It is reported that there are three kinds of cherry tree subspecies distributed from Europe to West Siberia, 200 species to Japan, 3 species to East Asia, and 33 species to China. There is also a story that the Himalayas are native mountains. The height is about 20m, and the bark is pebbled with a dark brown color. Leaves are alternate phyllotaxis, 6-12㎝ long, ovate or ovate lanceolate, long tip, pointed, with serrate on margin. There are no hairs on both sides, but there are some hairs on the surface when young. Flowers bloom in April or May in pink or white, with a diameter of about 3㎝, and 2-5 hang on the axilla of the leaves to form the arboreal or bulbous inflorescence. The peduncle is 3-3.5㎝ long, thin and has no hairs, and has a boll on the bottom. There are 5 petals and calyx pieces and 40 stamens. Life span is about 60 years, short. The fruit is a nucleus with a length of 6-8 mm and it ripens from red to black in June-July, which is called "cherry".
