Definition of 복왕갈거미 in the Korean dictionary
It is a Zongzhou (spider) spider that waits for food to be caught by the bamboo gag spider web and can be seen from May to August. The size of female is 7 ~ 9㎜, male is about 3 ~ 5㎜. It lives around a low mountain close to a city or a rural area, and makes a circular net vertically. The spider net has neither white band nor white band, and the horizontal line which is hunting ground is relatively strong in mucus. The pouch is made of leaves, and after laying eggs, protects by plucking a net on top of the egg. It is also called North Wangmo (Nam Gung Joon, 2001). 복왕갈거미 거미줄을 쳐 놓고 먹이가 걸리기를 기다리는 정주성(定住性)거미로 5~8월에 볼 수 있다. 크기는 암컷 7~9㎜, 수컷 3~5㎜ 정도이다. 도시나 농촌과 가까운 낮은 산 주변에 살며, 세로로 원형 그물을 만든다. 거미그물은 흰 띠가 있는 것도 있고 없는 것도 있으며, 사냥터인 가로줄은 점액성이 비교적 강하다. 알주머니는 나뭇잎에 만들며, 알을 낳은 뒤 알 위쪽에 풍성하게 그물을 쳐서 보호한다. 북왕거미라고도 불린다(남궁준, 2001).
