Definition of 부라운문합 in the Korean dictionary
This is an anastomosis performed between the import afferent loop and the export efferent loop of the jejunum to prevent vicious cycle such as stagnation of contents of gastrointestinal tract which is easy to occur after anastomotic gastrectomy and gastrointestinal reflux. The intestinal contents do not flow back to the stomach but flow to the lower digestive tract. However, in the case of peptic ulcer, an anastomotic ulceration is likely to occur when braun anastomosis is made. It is usually used in Billroth II law reconstruction formulas, but it is not necessary to make this marginal anastomosis. 부라운문합 위장 문합술 후에 발생하기 쉬운 소화관 내용물의 정체, 위장으로의 역류등, 악순환을 방지하기 위해 공장(空腸)의 수입계 afferent loop 와 수출계 efferent loop 간에 행하는 문합술을 말하며, 이 문합구에 의해 십이장 내용물이 위장으로 역류되지 않고 하부소화관으로 흐르게 된다. 단, 소화성 궤양의 경우 부라운 문합을 만들면 문합부 궤양이 발생하기 쉽다. 보통 빌로드 Billroth Ⅱ법 재건술식에서 응용되나 이 부라운 문합을 만들 필요는 적다.
