Busan City Symphony Orchestra
The Busan City Symphony Orchestra is the representative orchestra of Busan Metropolitan City. Founded in 1962, Oh Tae-gyun was appointed as the first permanent conductor. In addition, he has been serving as a permanent conductor in the order of Han Byeong-bum, Ki-hong Park, Jong Hyuk Park, Mark Gorenstein, Vladimir Keen, Bancho Chavdarsky and Kwak Seung. The current permanent conductor is Alexander Anymemov from 2005. The movement is Kim Dong-wook, and the major theater is Busan Cultural Center Grand Theater. He has also hosted international concerts such as Southeast Asia and China in 1997, and has also participated in the Asian Friendly Concert which is held every year in Fukuoka, Japan. In June 2009, Li Chin Cha, a Chinese conductor, was appointed as the 10th permanent conductor.
