It is a sedentary spider that waits for the food to be caught by the wolke worm spider web and can be seen from July to September. The size of female is 18 ~ 20㎜, male is about 10 ~ 12㎜. It can be seen in high mountains. It lives in a barrier or tree branches around a mountain trail, and makes a long circular net in the vertical direction. In the daytime, it hides in the leaf or the barrier of the end of the spider web, and when it catches the food in the spider net, it catches out the food quickly. 부석왕거미 거미줄을 쳐 놓고 먹이가 걸리기를 기다리는 정주성(定住性)거미로 7~9월에 볼 수 있다. 크기는 암컷 18~20㎜, 수컷 10~12㎜ 정도이다. 높은 산지에서 볼 수 있다. 등산로 주변 목책이나 나뭇가지 등에 살며, 세로로 긴 원형 그물을 만든다. 낮에는 주로 거미줄 끝의 나뭇잎이나 목책 등에 숨어 있다가 거미그물에 먹이가 걸리면 재빨리 나와 먹이를 잡아먹는다.
